Data we collect
- Account data: full name, email, phone number, and password (hashed).
- Service data: addresses, scheduled times, requirements, and feedback you provide.
- Transaction data: payment method, totals, and the time, type, and price of bookings.
- Cookies and device data: required for keeping you signed in and improving the experience.
How we use your data
- To deliver the services you book and communicate with you about them.
- To prevent fraud, secure your account, and operate our platform.
- To improve Sirwish through aggregated analytics that don't identify you.
Payment privacy
- Card details are processed by our PCI-compliant payment partner. Sirwish never stores raw card numbers.
- Cash bookings do not require card information.
Data sharing
- We share your booking details only with the assigned professional, and only what's needed to deliver the service.
- We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Cookies and similar technologies
- Strictly necessary: authentication session (Supabase), CSRF protection, admin session, your selected city, and language preference. These cannot be disabled because the service relies on them.
- Functional: booking draft, saved active address, UI preferences. Stored in your browser's localStorage so the site remembers your choices on the next visit.
- Analytics (optional, requires consent): PostHog and Google (Firebase) Analytics help us understand how people use Sirwish so we can improve it. These set first-party cookies and identifiers such as ph_*, _ga, and _ga_*.
- Payments: Stripe sets cookies used to detect fraudulent activity on the checkout. These are set only on pages that render the Stripe Elements iframe.
- You can accept or reject non-essential cookies the first time you visit, and change your choice any time by clearing the sirwish-consent value in your browser storage.
Your rights
- Access: request a copy of the data we hold.
- Correction: update inaccurate information.
- Deletion: request deletion of your account and data (where lawfully allowed).
- Withdraw consent: opt out of analytics cookies at any time. Essential cookies remain so you stay signed in.
